Instructions: (Make
2) Ch 5, join with a sl st to form ring. Rnd 1: Ch 3, (counts as 1st dc in each rnd) 2 dc, ch 2, *3 dc, ch 2. Repeat from * twice, join with a sl st in top of beg ch-3. Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, *2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in first corner sp, dc in each of next 3 dc; rep from * twice; 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, in next corner sp, join with a sl st in top of beg ch-3. (7 dc along each side)Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in next 4 dc, *2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in corner sp, dc in next 7 dc; rep from* twice; 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next corner sp, dc in next 2 dc, join with a sl st in top of beg ch-3. Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in next 6 dc, *2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, in corner sp, dc in next 11 sts; rep from * twice; 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in corner sp, dc in next 4 dc, join with a sl st in top of beg ch-3. Fasten off Edging Assemble Angel Fold Square 2 in half to make a triangle. Hold with the point downwards and place Square 1 on edge in the shape of a diamond, stitch point of Square 2 to the center back of Square 1. Can be glued if desired instead of stitching.
Rnd 1: Join contrasting color with a sl st around the plastic ring, ch 1, sc around the ring until ring is completely covered; join with a sl st to beg sc. Rnd 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in same st, *sc in next sc, 3 dc in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in top of beg ch-3. Finish off.. Glue or stitch ring over top of point on the front of Square 1. Trim at neck with ribbon rose and bows. Note: You can make the angel using a basic granny square pattern if desired. |
