Baby Bullion
St: Yo 5 times loosely, insert hook
into space indicated, draw up loop even with loops on hook, yo, draw through all 6 loops(wiggling hook as
needed); ch 1 to close.
Beginning
Cluster (beg cl): Ch 3; holding back
last loop of each dc, make 2 dc in same sp, draw through all 3 loops on hook.
Cluster(cl): Holding back last loop on each dc, make 3 dc in
space indicated, draw through all 4
loops on hook.
Directions:
With color C ch 4, join with sl st to form ring. Rnd 1: Ch 4, ( dc, ch 1) 11 times in ring; join with sl st to 3rd ch of
beginning ch 4. Finish off color
C.
Rnd 2: Join color A with sl st in any ch 1 sp; beg cl, ch 2, (cl, ch 2)
in each ch 1 sp around; join with sl st
to top of beginning cluster. Finish off color A.
Rnd 3: Join color B with sl st in any ch 2 sp, ch 2, (3 baby bullions,
ch 1) in each ch 2 sp around; join
with sl st to top of first bullion. Finish off color B.
Rnd 4: Join color A with sl st in any ch 1 sp, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc)
in same sp, [(ch 3, sc in next sp)
twice, ch 3, ( 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in next sp – corner made)]; repeat
between [ ] 3 times, omitting last
corner; join with sl st to top of ch 3. Finish off color
A.
Rnd 5: Join color C with sl st in any corner, ch 2, ( 3 baby bullions,
ch 3, 3 baby bullions) in same
corner, [ch 2, (3 dc in next sp,dc in next sc) twice, 3 dc in next sp, ch
2, (3 baby bullions, ch 3, 3 baby
bullions) in corner]; repeat between [ ] 3 times, omitting last corner;
join with sl st to top of first
bullion.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, sc in same bullion, sc in each bullion and each st around(
21 sc on each side), working 3 sc in
each corner; join with sl st to beginning sc. Finish off and weave in
ends.
