Ch 4; work 9 dc in
4th ch from hk. Join with sl st to top of ch 3 (10 dc). Ch 3 (counts as
first dc), work 5 dc in same st as joining (6 dc). Ch 3, turn. Work dc
in same st; work dc in ea of next 2 sts, work 2 dc in next st, 1 dc
in next st, and 2 dc in top of previous ch 3. (9 dc). Ch 1, turn.
Sc in first dc, *ch
3, sc in next dc, repeat from * across ending sc in top of ch 3 at end
of row. Going up edge of dress, sl st in side of next dc sp, and
then into next dc sp. To work wing, Ch 1, sc, hdc, dc, tr, ch 2, sl st
in stop of tr for picot; ch 3, sl st into same dc sp. Sl st into same sp
where head is joined and in next 3 dcs. Ch 7 for halo, skip 2 dc, sl st
in next 3 dcs and into sp where head is joined; sl st into next dc sp.
