Baby Snuggle Square Guidelines
You might be wondering, Why have guidelines if they're donations?
. It is important to remember that your donated squares will be assembled with
other squares, probably from as many other people, all with their own styles
and creative flares. In order to make sure that the snuggle afghans can be
assembled properly and evenly, each square needs to meet some very basic
guidelines.
The following are the square guidelines for a Baby Snuggle Afghan:
-
All squares are to be tagged with either your name, or name and e-mail address
-
Squares are to be no less than 4" and no more than 6" square
-
All squares are to be made from acrylic yarn. Please no cotton yarn squares
-
Both granny and sampler squares will be graciously accepted
-
Please, Please, Please do NOT finish off your square by
just pulling the yarn through the last stitch and cutting it off. Please leave
at least a 4" tail after your last stitch and weave it into the stitches of the
square so that it doesn't come apart. Also, no knots
please. If you are not comfortable with weaving in the tail, please leave it
and we will weave it in for you.
-
There are no minimum and maximum number of squares that can be contributed.
Each square is made with love, and received with love. We appreciate any that
are sent in to us.
