September 11, 2001 Tragedy.  Throughout the year following the attacks on America on September 11, 2001, Heartmade Blessings sent 375 red-white-blue comfortghans to bereaved families in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.

Operation Columbia.  After the fatal explosion of the Columbia Shuttle, Heartmade Blessings sent afghans to the families of the astronauts that lost their lives.
